I will be house sitting!!!

I am so excited to be house sitting all week next week. It is going to be so much fun, I will be able to stay up late and overeat my puppy snax and run around the house where ever I want!!! Of course I have to watch over Aunt Monica for a few days. She needs someone to take care of her, so I dont mind. And then I will have to watch over Auntie Kendra for a day or two, but I dont mind because she lets me watch whatever movies I want to watch!! It will be a great week, but I will miss my owners. They better bring me back some pup-souveneirs from the beach!!!

I think if the dog was the main character in "I am Legend" it would have been a much better movie. I'm just saying... Nothing against Will Smith, but we all know that dogs are much better main characters, just look at Old Yeller... One of the best movies of all time... You know you cried at the end.

i like to eat!

My favorite thing to do is tricks for food. One thing you know about me is that I never pass up a chance to eat. In this segment I even catch my food in mid-air. (I dont have time for it to hit the ground ;)

it's winter in Florida!

I'm cold cold cold cold puppy! We have this box that helps us save energy and the environment. But last night it was cutting off our heat at 4 in the morning and I was freezing my cute little puppy ears off. That's a shame. I have a four paw rating system for times like these and Progress energy gets half a paw. I think I will take my puppy tool kit in the shed and disable that silly box.

Anyways, I am chattering at how cold it is, but it still has done nothing to dampen my cuteness. I am still cute as ever and will come out of the covers for a brief moment if you have a treat for me ;) But no guarantees I will stop to chat because Im covering back up. This is the one day I wish I was a coffee drinker! b.o.l. (bark out loud)

Somedays you just have a flea.

Being a dog is a great way to go. I mean things can't get much better than the life I live. I get to spend my days protecting my house... I mean my owner's house. (Let's let them think it's theirs okay?... it'll be our secret) I get to get plenty of water and yummy dog food. I get to chew on rawhides and make my owner's smile at my funny tricks. Ahhh what a life. But every once in a while, I get that weird itch...

You got it. a flea.

If you haven't noticed, I have pretty short limbs. Yes, it works to my advantage because it makes me irresistibly adorable, but when it comes to scratching... Well let's just say i got the short end of the stick. So when I get a flea it really stinks. But I know that's just part of being irresistible, even fleas want to be near me.

It happens, but I know eventually I will either find a way to kill it, or my owner will scream at the top of her lungs and make the other owner come pull it off me and kill it. She is funny that way. But good thing her husband is such a good man. (ok, he paid me to say that. but, you can donate too and i can give you a glowing recommendation on my blog! BTW, I like to get paid in table scraps, smaller denominations please. thank you.)

Anyways, as my good friend Benji Larose (the late John Denver's beagle) would say, some days are diamonds and somedays you just have a flea. So remember that when things may not seem to go your way, because this too, will pass.
